Automatically generate 3D models from real-life environments using commercial, off-the-shelf imaging equipment

• How does it work?
• Areograph technology  can provide situational awareness for a broad range of security related fields, such as: counter terrorism, first responders, & VIP protection
• While the applications are broad, the process remains the same:
• Photograph an environment with a pre-calibrated camera
• Process the images locally using our software (or upload images to our server for us to process)
• A photo-realistic 3D model is automatically produced (with no manual modeling required)
• The more computing power behind it, the faster the model is generated - it all depends on how time critical the job is

• An example:
• Imagine a VIP Protection scenario where you will be taking a VIP into a previously undocumented location
• Send a photographer into the location ahead of time, who collects photos either openly or covertly
• The more photos taken, the more accurate the 3D model
• The photos are then processed with the Areograph software and the 3D model is generated
• This model could then be explored in real-time, as the team leader demonstrates the environment, establishing the lay-out of the location and any potential weak points in the security
• The model could be integrated into your established software, or simply explored in the Areo Player
